DESCRIPTION:It’s our tradition on the fifth Sunday of the month at the 10:30 a.m. service — the service in which the choir leads our singing — to begin with Morning Prayer followed by Holy Communion. The Prayer Book allows for substituting Morning Prayer for the Liturgy of the Word followed by Holy Communion. So\, for this Sunday\, September 29\, we will begin the 10:30 a.m. service with sung Morning Prayer.

SUMMARY:Wicomico Goes Purple Service
DESCRIPTION:St. Peter’s is partnering with Wicomico Goes Purple — a substance misuse awareness campaign that focuses on prevention\, treatment and recovery resources available in our community. The Wicomico Goes Purple initiative encourages people to get the facts\, get involved\, and start talking so that together we can help shatter the stigma of addiction.  This September we have been praying the prayer for the victims of addiction during the Prayers of the People and we are lighting up our bell tower at night in purple light. \nThis Saturday join in the Shatter the Stigma Walk at 9:30 a.m. at Wor-Wic Community College. Click here for more info. This Sunday afternoon\, St. Peter’s will be hosting a Meditation of Hope and Remembrance in the church at 4 p.m. All are invited to attend.
