DESCRIPTION:St. Peter’s Choir will lead a service of Evensong on All Saints Sunday\, November 3 at 5 p.m. in the church and all are invited to attend. This beautiful liturgical service is unique to our Anglican Heritage. Note that incense will be used at this service. Invite your friends and family to join you. \nThere will be a potluck dinner and fellowship following the service in the Parish Hall and all are encouraged to participate. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish\, salad\, side or dessert. To help with planning\, please sign up on the sign-up sheet at coffee hour for what you will bring\, or contact the Parish Office.

SUMMARY:Election Day Evening Prayer
DESCRIPTION:The Diocese’s Southern Convocation clergy are gathering for their monthly worship and meeting next Tuesday\, November 5\, which is also Election Day. They will meet at St. Alban’s in Salisbury for a special Evening Prayer which will focus on prayers and readings for our nation and the election. The clergy are inviting all clergy and lay people from the Southern Convocation to join them and participate in Evening Prayer. Father David Michaud\, our Rector and the Dean of the Southern Convocation\, will be there and encourages members of St. Peter’s to come to St. Alban’s for this special Evening Prayer at 5:30 p.m. on November 5. Note that St. Alban’s will be open all day for a vigil on Election Day. \nPrayer for Elections\nAlmighty God\, to whom we must account for all our powers and privileges: Guide the people of the United States in the election of officials and representatives; that\, by faithful administration and wise laws\, the rights of all may be protected and our nation be enabled to fulfill your purposes; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
