More About St. Peter's Sunday School!
St. Peter's Sunday School welcomes all children ages 3-5th Grade. We meet in our St. Peter's Education Annex each Sunday between the 9 am service and the 11 am service. Teachers are church members who have gone through background checks and training. We always have 2 adults in each classroom per our Safeguarding God's Children guidelines. We use a curriculum that is lectionary based, meaning the lesson is associated with one of the readings from the church service. We want children to associate what they hear in church with a lesson that they can relate to.
Outreach Projects:
- Making bags of personal supplies for students at our partner school, Wi-Middle
- Cards for parishioners and those in the community who need cheering up
- Put together dignity bags filled with personal supplies for homeless men living in a shelter
Special Events:
- Yearly visit from the Bishop
- Advent Celebration
- Lent Activity
- Annual Easter Egg Hunt
- End of Year Party Annually
Bishop's Visitation
The Rt. Rev. Bishop Marray visited St. Peter's for our Patronal Feast day. While he was here, he visited the Sunday School and then blessed the goody bags the children put together for the men staying at the Hands and Hearts Ending Homelessness cold weather shelter.

Camp Wright
Camp Wright is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Easton which is located on the shores of the beautiful Chesapeake Bay in Stevensville, MD. Registration for the 2023 season is now open. Visit the Camp Wright website here for more information!
Vacation Bible School
St. Peter's participates in a combined Wicomico County Episcopal Churches Vacation Bible School. In August 2022, St. Alban's hosted VBS, using a creative version of Harry Potter. We enjoyed the fun of being sorted into Houses of Hogwarts and then hearing the story of Jesus calling his disciples.
We look forward to more fun at next summer's VBS!
