Training: How to Know What to Do

St. Peter's provides training and practice for all who are interested in serving at the altar.  We do a general training in September.

NOTE: TRAINING SESSIONS COMING UP:

  • None at this time.

The coordinator of our Altar Servers, Deacon Laura Harbaugh, can also do one-on-one training and provide assistance to those interested.  Contact Deacon Laura at laurah@stpeterschurch.net.

What is a Customary?

A customary is a description of the liturgical responsibilities of a lay or clergy person involved in a worship service -- what it is "customary" for that person to do in that role.  Click below for the customary of each different altar server position.
