In-Person Worship
Join us at St. Peter's Church for worship. Enter through the tower doors (disabled entrance is through the Parish House doors at the parking lot).
Masks are optional indoors. Recognizing there are a number of reasons why a person would choose to wear a mask we are respectful and loving to all those choosing to do so. We are following the mask policy of Wicomico County Public Schools: as of now, masks are optional in the Nursery, Sunday School, Youth Group, and Choir School.
We are now allowing communicants to drink from the chalice. The Bishop on Palm Sunday ended the pandemic restriction against administering the cup for Holy Communion. However intinction, or the dipping of bread into the wine by the communicant, is not allowed at this time. No one is required to drink from the cup. Just receiving the bread is considered a complete communion. It is at the communicant's discretion whether or not to sip from the chalice.
A nursery attendant is available during the 9:00 am and 11:00 am services (10:00 am during our Summer schedule).
Between Labor Day and Memorial Day our in-person worship services are as follows:
On Sundays:
7:45 am Holy Eucharist Rite I
9:00 am Holy Eucharist Rite II*
11:00 am Holy Eucharist Rite II*
* On August 20 we travel to our mother church, Old Green Hill Church, for a 10am service there.
On Wednesdays there is 12noon Holy Eucharist I with a Public Service of Healing.
We offer daily prayer on the other days of the week. For times and more information click here.
