Welcome to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church!
May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples.
We're glad to have you visit Salisbury's Downtown church!
Free parking is available on the street and in municipal lots. Entrance to the church is through the bell tower door. Disabled access to the elevator is through the Parish House entrance in back of the Church on Church Street, which parallels U.S. Route 50. On Sundays our entire parking lot by that entrance is reserved for disabled parking.
Our church was built in 1887 and is a magnificent example of Italian Romanesque construction, with intricate brickwork and more than 50 stained glass windows. On Sundays our average Sunday attendance is around 150.
Our spiritual leader is Father David Michaud, the rector and clergy person who serves the parish along with our Assistant Rector, Adele Hatfield and Deacon Laura McCarthy. They lead our worship and look forward with other parishioners in greeting you when you come to worship.
During the pandemic we have one Sunday service at 10am.
