For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.
— Matthew 25:35
Rooted in God's love, the Community Dinner at St. Peter's exists to serve individuals and families in the downtown Salisbury community who are facing food insecurity. Through the ministry of shared meals, we offer not just nourishment, but dignity, joy, and belonging. Guided by the example of Christ, we open our doors to all, seeking to build community, human connections, and deeper relationships around the table.
Once a month, we serve dinner to the food-insecure in the downtown Salisbury community, including local individuals, families, the elderly, college students, and others. All who come to the table will be fed regardless of age, background, socioeconomic status, gender, religious affiliation, or any other discriminating factor.
Dinner is served once a month. "Drop-in" service runs from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, centrally located in downtown Salisbury.
