Sacred Ground Informational Session

Sacred Ground is an Episcopal Church film- and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith. A small group is invited to walk through chapters of America’s history of race and racism, while weaving in threads of family story, economic class, and political and regional identity.
The series is built around a powerful online curriculum of documentary films and readings that focus on Indigenous, Black, Latino, and Asian/Pacific American histories as they intersect with European American histories.
Our own Pastor Greg and parishioners Karen Shields and Linda Hurley are the facilitators for this Tuesday evening series which begins October 1 at 7 p.m. in the Library.
Come to an information session on Sunday, September 22 at 930am in the library to learn more and to ask questions. The facilitators plan to show a sampling of what the class will see in the series. For more information, go to the Sacred Ground page on the parish website: https://stpeterschurch.net/sacred-ground/.
