Special Music for Independence Day

We are delighted to welcome guest tenor Alex McCoy, an experienced NYC-based singer who performs regularly with professional ensembles, including frequent service with the Saint Thomas Fifth Avenue Choir. He has also appeared as a soloist at Marble Collegiate Church in New York City.

Alex will be joining us for both the 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM services on Sunday, July 5, as guest cantor and soloist. He will collaborate with Lauma Akmene in a special presentation of Mendelssohn’s Elijah, including “Ye People, Rend Your Hearts” and “If With All Your Hearts.”

This will be a joyful and meaningful musical observance of the Independence Day weekend. Please join us for this special Sunday of worship, featuring a guest musician and festive liturgy at both services.
